The ultimate upgrade! From the initial consultation, we knew we were up for a challenge, and we weren’t wrong! With its contemporary architectural design, featuring several contrasting linings and finishes, we were able to create this industrial take on a more traditional farmhouse.
Our client was very keen to move away from the original style and we were able to do so with the use of new technology in terms of CSR Cemintel Aspect external cladding and Territory feature cladding, we created a very interesting contrast, and throw in the Knotwood aluminium feature battening system, has certainly moved this home into the modern era!
The layout of this home now consists of a very spacious master suite to the ground floor including huge ensuite, walk-in robe, study space and gym which overlooks the pool and cane farming land beyond! A double car space garage with polished concrete floors incorporating a suspended concrete stair case leading up to the 1st floor balcony.
The additional of a grand entrance fit with a 1200 wide pivot hinged door opening onto the void space with floor to ceiling windows providing significant natural light throughout. 2 x bedrooms, each with their own ensuite and private access makes for the ultimate teenagers hangout.
The 1st floor consists of an open living and kitchen space with butlers pantry, with massive sliding doors, opening onto a cantilevered patio overlooking the cane farms surrounding the property. We were able to utilise some beautiful existing features such as mixed hardwood floors and rosewood windows and doors, creating a spectacular contrast between the new and old internal features.
